Hand it off

Monthly bookkeeping

From $275/month

Most small architecture firms pay $575–$900/month, depending on payroll, invoicing and accounts payable.

It hasn't just been a huge load off my plate as a business owner, it has been so seamless and simple.

Amanda Smith, Partner, Monday

From actively ignoring to eagerly awaiting your monthly financial check-in.

Every month you get

  • Reconciled booksEvery transaction recorded and matched, in QuickBooks Online, Xero or Kashoo.
  • A plain-words reportIncome, spending and where you can save, explained.
  • A CPA to askWhen something doesn't make sense, you ask me.

Add what you need

  • Biweekly payroll
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts payable
  • GST filing
  • Monthly budget updates
  • Mentorship calls

You'll feel right at home if you're…

  • Doing your own books, late at night, and it eats your evenings.
  • Behind, or a bit of a mess. No judgment; we start from where you are.
  • Just starting out and want it set up right: bank account, credit card, GST, invoicing.

I don't file income tax returns. I keep your books ready for your year-end accountant.

Plan ahead

Budget & cash flow forecast

Price on the intro call

The most helpful was the setup of cash flow forecasting which enabled me to forecast once a week or two and then forget about the money and focus on the projects.

Owner, Design Build

Growing but messy? Not sure what you made, whether you can hire, or how much to pay yourself? Let's plan a year you're excited about.

How we build it

  1. ForecastYour monthly income and expenses, projected over the year ahead.
  2. Set goalsPersonal and business: a raise for you, a revenue target, your first hire.
  3. BudgetA monthly plan to reach those goals, reviewed together.

Keep it on track, your way

  • With monthly bookkeeping: I update the budget every month and send notes on what changed.
  • Just the budget: you keep it up to date, with optional check-ins.
  • Quarterly mentorship: a call each quarter to ask questions and stay on course.

Good questions

Which option is right for me?

If you want the books off your plate, monthly bookkeeping. If you do your own books but want a plan, a budget and forecast. If you just have questions, a mentorship call. Not sure? Book the free intro call and we'll figure it out together.

Can I work with you if I'm behind on my bookkeeping?

Yes, and there's no judgment. On the intro call we'll look at where things stand and what it takes to catch up.

Do you file income taxes?

No. I keep your books ready for your year-end accountant. I can file your GST.

What's the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?

Bookkeeping is recording and reconciling every transaction, every month. Accounting uses those records for things like year-end statements and tax returns. I do the bookkeeping, and help you plan with the numbers.

What do I need to send you?

Bank and credit card statements, receipts and invoices, uploaded to a shared folder. I'll connect to your accounting software too.

What software do you use?

Mostly QuickBooks Online. I also work with Xero and Kashoo, and connect tools like Stripe, PayPal, Shopify and Harvest.

Who will I be working with?

Me, every time. No juniors, no hand-offs.
